Flooding & Snow

While everyone is getting soaked this morning with rain the mountains are getting both. Heavy rain from last night has prompted many flood warnings, but now the rain has changed to snow. Here are the current flood warnings.

While the flooding is slowing down the snow is pilling up fast. This is the view right now at Beech Mountain.

The models have various amounts of possible snowfall accumulations but plenty enough for a winter weather advisory for all of the mountain counties.
